Starting today, I am hosting my first ever Supernatural Rewatch event. Each Monday and Thursday, we will each watch an episode, starting with the Pilot, and then come back the following day to discuss, gush, obsess, etc over together. It give us something to do during the holiday hiatus, as well as make new friends and bring new fans to the show. Be sure to pimp this out, so that we can make this thing huge!

I was having this discussion elsewhere and thought perhaps members of this community would have some interesting selections...I'm going to assume that at least a few of you grew up as "bookworms" given your current membership in Academics Anon.

What is your favorite book when you were in grade school? I stumbled upon an old copy of A Wrinkle in Time and began re-reading it - it was my favorite in elementary school. It's interesting the different things I take away from it as an adult. Now I want to go back and read more notable books from elementary/middle/high school and see what else I missed, especially those that I read because I "had" to.

Do you have any titles that you hold near and dear to your heart?

I found the most commonly challenged books in the US and it makes me want to go read them all. Some of them on there are ridiculous.

I just got back from New Moon! Oh lawdy, Edward was wearing more make-up than Bella and this group of preteens in the back literally MRROW'd when Taylor took off his shirt. It was fun, I enjoyed myself.

I have so much shit to do tonight. I forgot about this big vocab test I have tomorrow and I was going to work on my Othello paper tonight. /meh

My break was so good but now I have like three straight weeks of full school. I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN DO IT FLIST. MY BODY IS LIKE ATTACHED TO MY BED IN THE MORNING. IT'S HAAAAARD. I do have a field trip next week though, and a few days will be devoted to setting up the Gingerbread House, this little shop thing my school days where we rip off the little kids, so it won't be horribly, terribly bad. Then after break I have midterms and SATs. Happy happy joy joy.

I'm going to be posting a big chunk of drabbles I wrote for spnland later tonight because...I am tired of waiting for that place to update? I PROMISED COYOTE. And lavendergaia and bloodnfire (and you too coyote even though you backed out and replaced it with Remus/Sirius) should be expecting their Christmas mix soon, for Bela Talbot!<3

Also, can someone explain to me what is wrong with me? I'm plotting on writing a Romeo and Juliet/SPN crossover. Whyyyyyy.

I tried to tint my hair black today, all by myself for the first time in years. Not sure where it went wrong, but that's not black. Luckily not green or old lady purple either. :P
The rest of the time I was battling with the calendar walls, couldn't make up my mind. *g* That was after I slept only a few hours cause those friggin' birds outside wouldn't shut up. It sounded like they were murdering each other, and try not to be intrigued by that. *gg*

So, first batch of December walls. Something dark for a change. ;D
